Micro-GANT3

Icons by Mattahan

~~~Intro~~~
Welcome to the third installment of Mattahan's amazing icon packs called G.A.N.T. All icons are copyright to Mattahan. The only modifications on the icons themselves that I made was on the Disconnected Server icon.  I made this icon by cutting the plug out and splicing in another globe behind the server after recoloring the little yellow button. MikeB314 helped me out on the shadow by seeing where it was not continuous, so I'd like to thank his eagle eyes and brilliantly sharp LCD screen. ;)
~~~Background Info~~~

Allow me to emphasize this point. I DID NOT MAKE THESE ICONS! Mattahan did! If you would like to redistribute them in any way, shape, or form, please contact him. If you have any questions on this IconPack itself, then feel free to contact me. Otherwise, if you think his icons are uber l33t too, then go ahead and pop him an email. If you think I've somehow done a stellar job on wrapping up his precious icons, then feel free to contact me too :P Below are some links you can follow to get ahold of the iconist:

Just noticing this...first set was in 2003, now it's 2005. Over 1 million deviations have spanned that gap. Dang.

~~~About the Set~~~
Ok, this is how I made the set. Xino dropped me a little present in the IRC, and I immediately set to work. I did not want to build directly off my GANT2 base, as I wanted to feature all of the new icons that I could. For everything but the file types, I used GANT3 icons except when I really had to look back. The file types are a different issue. Because there's around 250 for all of the packs, I decided to include them ALL. After realizing that the average WC user without a subscription would not want to download 15 megs of icons, I thought, heck, I'll make a slimmed down version for them, and make another version full of goodies for the rest of us. So, after completeing Macro I proceeded to slim down it until I came up with only the 7.5 MB Micro version. Enjoy. Also, thanks to those who tested on the forums and Pas (Snidely, or whomever he decides to call himself) for pushing me along in doing this.
~~~How to Install~~~

I'm hoping you know, but for those who don't, I'll explain the process. Well it looks like you got as far as unzipping it. Now you need IconPackager. You can find that at:

http://www.iconzone.com/

The program has a 30 day trial. After that runs out...try to live with the windows default for a while. I found it to be quite impossible, so here I am now as a 2 year customer of ObjectDesktop. Anywho, fire that program up. In the middle of the program is a listbox of all the packages on your system. Below that is "Install New Package," and click that and go to "From Disk." Browse to wherever you unzipped Micro, and open up Micro-GANT3.ip into IconPackager. Now it will appear in the listbox. Select it, and then hit "Load." This tells IconPackager "OK, you want icons from this pack" and it loads up the icons over in the Icons and Cursors tab. However, it they will not actually show until you hit "OK" or "APPLY." After that, you're done! Give Explorer a moment to realize that the icons changed. If you really want them to look nice, head over to "Settings" and under the first section (Windows Settings) click "Use Large Icons." This bumps them up to 48x48 pixels and you can start to see the details on the icons. I hope that helps!
